Ahoy!

Welcome back to the newsletter and to the new subscribers, welcome to the monthly newsletter. It's great to be doing the first one of the season again. After some time in the sunny south it's time to get back at it !
The staff have been busy over the winter on many new projects. We are looking forward to a very busy season with a full house and lots of new customers.
I'm not going to saying anything about CoVid because my record on mentioning something to soon (August newsletter...'It was a great season without incident.") turned out to be a disastrous miss spoken truth that lead to a violent September wind storm.!

March 1st Slip Fees
Your final slip payment was due March 1st. If you have not done so please forward payment to the office. Also, all the slips are spoken for and we have a waiting list, so if your plans have changed please let us know.
Winter Hours Update
Through April 1st the store will remain closed Mondays and Fridays.
Current hours,Tuesday through Thursday 9 am until 4 pm.
Spring hours will start April 4th Monday through Fridays 9 am until 5 pm
Changes to required liability insurance
A reminder as your insurance policies come due this season the Marina now requires $2 million in liability coverage. Please make sure your policies are up to date as it is a requirement of your slip contract.
Staff for 2022

Like most other small businesses, we did not go unscathed through the last year. As we finalize staffing details we will present your season of '22 staff in the next newsletter.
Some new faces will be onsite to meet your service needs
Use a plastic wire zip tie to secure shackle pins. Won't stain the deck and simple to use. Boating Magazine

Prevent your dinghy from banging the platform and keeping you awake all night, tie a bucket on its painter halfway between boat and dinghy. It will lie to the bucket, not to the boat. Boating Magazine

When was the last time you changed the O rings on your deck filler caps? We see many older ones either not there at all our dried out and cracked.

1) By the website under - Services- Wiarton Marina Order forms - Select either...Sailboat Re-Commissioning Order Form or Powerboat Re-Commissioning Order Form.....make sure you receive a confirmation back from us.
2) By calling the office 519 534 1301

The season ahead.
It's always an anxious time of the year for me. Making sure everything is in place and ready for the spring launch. Although somehow it all comes together. It's our wonderful staff that makes it all work. Their years of experience really shines when the pressure is on.
We are looking forward to serving you this season and a warm welcome to all our new customers!
